    Surprised how this hotel got 4-star!
    The facilities are extremely old and bad! We booked 2 room, 2 doors of the rooms can not be closed easily. Washrooms are small and dark! We traveled in Gansu province for 8 days, stayed in 3 cities, this hotel was the worst....

    Many of the hotel staff do not speak English. But they were kind enough to help me in some way.
    Breakfast was good. Internet connection was ok in the early morning but in the evening. 300 RMB to the airport by a hotel limo or 30 RMB by bus.

    Four stars? For what??
    A four star hotel? Really? For what? One star is definetly for lack of service, another for arrogance of the staff. As a guest you have to beg for help... The only quick thing is, removing the breakfast-buffet: the staff literally take the plates out of your hand. Train your staff! The hotel should be a place for hospitality toward the guests, not a place where the staff acts like they are little kings. I've been traveling the world, especially Asia the last 20 years, and I've found better backpacker hostels with much better service and facilities.
